A Different Take on CTMH Yuletide Carol

I must admit that when I first saw the Yuletide Carol paper pack, it was not my favorite. However, I really liked a couple of sheets of the paper and immediately thought they would work well for a heritage or vintage layout. I wanted to create a layout that was monochromatic and would work well for older black and white photos. I plan to put some of the old pictures that belonged to my parents. This layout also worked great for the Heart 2 Heart challenge this week, Something Old, Something New. The challenge required us to use something old in a new way or paired with something new. I am using the Yuletide Carol paper in a new/different way and will be pairing it with some old photos. I am so pleased with how it turned out, that I have decided that we will be creating this layout for our hostess club in January.

  1. Interesting to use this paper pack for a heritage based layout - but that was my same train of thought when I saw it. I was also not a huge fan of this paper at first but it grew on me over the season. I still have the component that you used here left over and a heritage layout is what I plan to do with it so great minds think alike! I LOVE this layout! The flowers and flourishes add the perfect touch.
