Exciting Summer Happenings!

It has been a great summer! I have been very busy paper crafting this summer. One of my goals for this summer was to create more, both cards and layouts, and to post on my blog at least once a week. I can say that I have accomplished both of those goals! (We won't discuss the goals of cleaning the house and going through closets. hehe) To help motivate myself to reach my creative goals, I decided to enter the challenge over at the Atlantic Hearts Challenge and I applied to be on the design team. Much to my surprise and excitement, I was chosen to be a part of the team. I have loved designing using their sketches each week, talk about some creative ladies! After a few weeks on this design team, I was invited to join the Kellycraft design team. I was again shocked and excited to have another creative opportunity. I love my Get-It-Straight Laser Square and use it on all of my projects. It seems the more I create the more creative I feel (if that makes sense?) so I began entering the Heart 2 Heart challenges also. I was chosen as the Top Chick for the month of June and asked to be a guest designer for August. What an honor! I am still shocked to have been invited to play along with this amazing group of talented ladies. I can't even begin to tell you how much all of this has meant to me this summer. The last year has been one of many changes and challenges for me personally and I have struggled creatively. This has been such a great boost and has really brought back my creative mojo! I am excited to share my first Heart 2 Heart challenge with you for the Bon Voyage challenge.
