Red, White, and Blues

Welcome to the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!  The blogger in front of me is Kimberly Moss - www.kimspapercrafts.com.   The Stampers with an Attitude are excited to show you some Patriotic Art with an Attitude, so here we go.

I must say, I was so excited when I saw that we were doing patriotic art for the hop this month. I have so many pictures of our Marine son that I have been wanting to scrap and this was the perfect thing to get me started. I created a two page layout using red, white, and shades of blue card stock. I also used our two patriotic stamp sets, Courage and Home of the Brave, that are only available for the month of July. Check them out over at www.lhicks.ctmh.com The layout is from the Imagine how-to book. The pictures are from Family Day and Boot Camp graduation in San Diego, August 2012. It was a great trip and after not seeing our son for 13 weeks, I was so happy to be able to spend time with him and then to have him come home with us for 2 weeks. It is hard to believe that he has now been in the Marines for over a year. I love these stamp sets and can't wait to create layouts for our trip over the 4th of July to Washington DC where he is now stationed.

The next blogger on the hop is Becky McClain ~ www.beckysstudio-cards.blogspot.com Hop on over and check out her wonderful project!
