New Scrap Area!!!







These are a few pics of my new and improved scrap area! I don't have a seperate scrap room so I had taken over the dining room area in our house. With limited space and an assortment of storge units it was hard to know what I had and then I could never find the items I needed. So the only thing I wanted for Christmas this year was organizational/storage items for my scrap area. I really thought I would get a few new storage bins and some paper trays, but my wonderful husband gave me an entire scrapbook room makeover! I got paper racks, storage cubes, embellishment centers, ribbon racks, the whole nine yards! Then our great friends gave us a flat screen tv so the room would be complete! What a terrific Christmas! Now everything is organized and has it own labeled place. It is great to sit down and scrap now that I know exactly what I have and where everything is located!

To celebrate my new room, I thought I would give something away. So, all you have to do is look at the picture of the stamp sets and leave a comment on this post of how many CTMH stamp sets you think I have altogether. All of my stamp sets are in the storage bins on the shelf. It's that simple and the person with the closest guess will win the Bohemian Alphabet set pictured. I will post the winner in one week on December 9, 2011. So let me know what you think of the new space and also guess how many stamp sets I have! :-)

    What a wonderful gift! My dining room is my craft room, too. Or maybe I should say my craft room is my dining room, too. :)
    My guess...hmmmm...I'll be on the conservative side and say 116.

    Absolutely LOVE your new space! I don't know what it looked like before, but it is incredible now! I'm guessing 520 stamps and if that is even close, I will be SO impressed! That's a LOT of stamps! What do you actually have them stored in?

    Great job organizing! I just moved from Clear Lake (Houston) to Denver. I need to get organized. Right now, I have everything everywhere. 2 full shelving units, paper organizers, several plastic storage bins and still 5 boxes to unload somewhere. Help!     What a wonderful present!! Looks amazing. Well, I use this same form of storage for my stamp sets so I may have cheated...but only if you fit the same amount of stamps sets in each container as I do. My guess is 537.

    Oh...to be organized... Fabulous use of your space. How do you know which bin each stamp set is in when you want to use it? That's something that I'm struggling with.

    Going by the number of your containers and the E-sized stamps...my guess is 537. But then I noticed that Jess guessed the same amount. What happens if there's a tie? And where will you put any new stamps you get?

    I'm guessing 540. What a wonderful hubby you have! Mine wouldn't have the first clue to what scrapbooking storage would work. He actually forgot to take the kids shopping for my Christmas gift. lol My birthday is 3 days prior and he took them shopping for that so I guess he was thinking they were done.
